"The feeling or emotion, when a person is moved by the suffering or distress of another, and by they desire to relieve it" (pg 399) is part of what compassion mean. Writing with such tone of voice can be hard to manipulate. Dictions, punctuation, sentence structures are components to give writing a set of tone such as compassion to emphasize the meaning behind the story. With compassion you can connect the story to the audience to give a sense of emotional feeling toward the audience. It could also be use the opposite way, making the audience give emotion to the story. Compassion gives great impact when you want to have an effect on people. With such strong feeling the audience is reading, it some times can't be help if people want to react to what they just read. An example of this is if you were to write a compassion story about an animal at the shelter, people might feel obligated to wanting to adopt the animal

  

"This inability to feel their victims' pain allows them to tell themselves lies that encourage their crime" (pg 413) is what most predictor do to themselves. Many people only think that since they are doing these action that its ok. But in the end rape, molestation, and assault are all the same.No matter who did it or the reason behind it its illegal and its unethical. Rapist for example, once they rape their victim they might not stop because they think that since its sex that the other person will be fine with it since both people are getting pleasure but in reality its not that way. Only those that can actually feel others pain can react differently when they attack their victim. Those people can rethink their action so that they might not start the attack in the first place. However, for those predictors that don't think this way horrible actions would only occur.
